Reading through the condolences here they are testament to the high esteem that Michael had with his work colleagues in N.W.H.B. and in his community. I can also say that I found Michael to be a true gentleman and empathetic. What a lovely retirement he had living 6/months every year with his Daughter in Australia and the rest with his family in Ireland. I recall my first day at work on the Leitrim Road. He called me in to his office where he dictated a few letters, I was so nervous,I couldn't read back the shorthand, but as the months went by, he became a friend and colleague to many of us despite being our BOSS....Rest in peace Michael. A true gentleman.
