We were so sorry to hear of the death of our cousin Michael. He was so happy to find his ancestral home here in Castlegregory Co. Kerry.

Michael hosting great house parties..Every xmas he would visit all the neighbors and drop in presents such a lovely thoughful thing to do. He was allways full of energy and very creative person. To celebrate the life and passing of my uncle Mick, brother to my mum and now back together with his family in peace. What a remarkable life he had, from his service in air/sea rescue with the RAF during WW2 to his immigration to Canada and his family life across the pond. Early memories of Mick visiting the UK and Essex, normally with one of my cousins strapped in a native papoose and sending Christmas tape recorded messages to each other. In retirement with my new cousins in Ireland and what a lovely home and area to live in. Active as ever, from sheep farming to boat building, even a bit of amateur radio as a hobby. Now rest in peace Mick, you are fondly remembered and will also be in our hearts. Sincere condolences to my cousins both side of the pond and we will celebrate his life soon.

Many many fond memories from my childhood are from Michael's house. Many people and children would gather, micheal loved all of us, we would have great adventures from all of us with thomas and ryan in the car for spins to outside near the river.. we went to cork wit my mother an my best friend, we also attended a glentrague wedding wit michael thomas an ryan to achill island. I could go on as there are so many. You will be sadly missed. RIP michael and condolences to you all left behind.
