Please accept my condolences on the death of Mick. An unforgettable character who was a quintessential Irishman. He did a difficult job with great vigour and enthusiasm. He was an important person in my life and I thank him through his family for everything.

A gentleman, a great educator, a great coach and one of my favourite teachers from my time in Marian College. Tough when we started in second year but dear God we needed it. After that what an absolute gentleman. Condolences to all family and friends and colleagues. RIP.
