What a legend this man is and will be for ever be in Ballyheigue Community.
A very special person!

I met alot of great people in my short time in Ballyheigue now.
Mike or horse as i got to know him from the locals , he was some presence. Always smiling , always up for a pint always great craic, his cooking in the sands on the coal fire when he'd set off the alarm .. thats a fantastic memory.
That same alarm whent off today as Mike passed the sands. Thats was special.
He loved life but most of all his family and that was his power!

Michael made our first Christmas with Barry very special when he surprised us Christmas morning and called down dressed as santa, it made our day and it was going to be a yearly tradition.
