So sorry to hear about Mick’s passing, my condolences to all his family and friends.

My sincerest condolences to Alan, Martina and all Mick's family on his untimely passing. Mick and Alan fostered my love of karate in Donabate and together we helped to train many students to appreciate the sport. It was never a chore to go to their classes and I will always be grateful to have known them. Rest in peace Mick.

Mick was sensei to both my son (Callum) and myself. Both of us loved karate and have Mick to thank for our shared experiences of learning, fighting, travelling and being a part of something. Donabate Karate Club was such an important part of our lives and that of many people in this community. He leaves a big legacy. Condolences to Alan, all of Mick's family and his loved ones.

Mick played a pivotal role in my childhood through karate. I have plenty of fond memories going to Donabate Karate Club every Tuesday and Saturday where Mick would be drilling us with push ups, sit-ups, punches and kicks like we were in the military. He provided a solid foundation for a lot of kids and taught them the value of hard work, respect and dedication. RIP Sensei

Mick, absolutely shocked to have heard such sad news last week. You were a great colleague, friend and advisor during my time working with you. 3:30pm was my favorite time of day knowing you would be arriving at the depot soon - You shared your favorite music, jokes and most of all you shared such heartwarming stories of your fiancé, Marty and how much love you had for her (A love I think many would dream of!). I am glad our paths crossed and that I got to meet such a gentleman like you. My sincere condolences to Marty and all of your family - Thinking of you all!
