So sad to hear of Michael's passing. Sincere sympathy to O'Meara family, extended family, and many friends at this sad time.
I have fond memories of many a wonderful chat with Michael at matches down through the years. Without question he was one of the top GAA administrators in Ireland, and a man who carried out his duties with complete dedication to his role. A friendly courteous man, he was so helpful and kind in his dealings with the general public, especially the great GAA family. Peace to his noble soul.

I never met Michael but loved his Aon Gno Eile programme on Tippfm, it was a wonderful combination of music and song, match previews and interesting chat all presented with effortless aplomb by a man who exuded knowledge of and passion for all things Gaelic.
