Thanks to you Michael for the great memories and the great pleasure I had following your wonderful racing career. From the first day I saw you on Tony the pony at the Duhallow Hunt at Abbeyswell you looked like Jockey with natural horsemanship & a great pair of hands. You had class, manners in spades, I remember you opened a gate faster than St Peter and never missed the hunt. The Tributes coming in are so well deserved, No surprise.
Your loss is unimaginable for Mary O, Bernie, William, Alan & Charlotte and all of the O’Sullivan family & your many fans in the racing community. May you RIP

Even though I do not know the immediate O'Sullivan Family, nor Charlotte, Jonjo O'Neill Junior's words at Cheltenham brought me to tears with his beautiful description of his friend, Michael. What a wonderful son, brother, partner and friend he must have been. May he rest in peace.

It was so fitting to hear the name of Michael o'Sullivan at Cheltenham this week, a young man who achieved so much in his short life - condolences to his beloved family ,relations ,friends & and all in the racing world. May Michael's kind gentle soul be at rest.

Heartfelt condolences to your family, partner and friends. The country prayed for your recovery. May you Rest in Peace Michael and watch over your family. You achieved so much in your short life and will never be forgotten.

I’m not a racing person but I wanted to offer my deepest sympathy to all who loved Michael. What beautiful tributes have been paid to him. He was clearly a very special young man. May the knowledge that he was so loved and highly regarded by so many and that he will live on in his gift of life to another comfort you in your great loss.

Only briefly met Mikey as an apprentice but he just stood out in the weighing room. Had a presence. This message isn't really about his untimely passing. I just felt driven to mark on his condolence book. I have never known or been more moved by how he has been revered this week at Cheltenham and rightly so. To all the Irish Jockeys and particularly Paul and Sean. They have done him proud.

Though his time was cut far too short, take some comfort in knowing that he found his passion and lived a life filled with purpose and joy.
The outpouring of treasured memories shared since his passing has been a testament to the incredible man he was: talented, kind, and loved by so many.
We had great times with Michael from primary school especially our Friday evenings spent in Ballyrafter Showjumping, where we had many nights out competing, winning rosettes and wrapping up the evening with the famous pancakes, burgers, and chips. Those days will forever remain in our hearts.

Dear William, Bernie, Alan, Charlotte, Nana Mary and all of the O'Sullivan family,

I was truly heartbroken to hear of Michael’s passing. He was a gentleman in every sense; polished, professional, and immensely talented, with the ability to reach the pinnacle of national hunt racing. He gave our family one of our greatest racing memories when he steered Magnor Glory to win the big hurdle race in Listowel in '22, which we will forever cherish. Only his second win as a professional I believe, and already alerting the racing world to take note.
Despite his success, Michael remained humble, grateful, and deeply connected to his Duhallow roots, friends and family. The outpouring of beautiful tributes over the past week is a testament to the respect and admiration he earned.
You did a wonderful job raising him, and you should be incredibly proud of the man he became. Our thoughts are with you during this unimaginable loss.

So kind and respectful, an excellent rider, great fun - a beautiful person all round. Mikey was such a gorgeous young lad inside and out and what a talent he was. He achieved so much in is young life and we all loved him. He will be so dearly missed and it just won’t be the same without him. My spare room will always be known as Mikey’s room. He conquered the racing world, the academic world and had the world at his feet. And he deserved the world. He will be missed by us all and never forgotten. His picture with Ben when he was riding one of our horses and Ben was riding in the same race as Mikey takes pride of place in our tackroom. Gone but never forgotten
