Very sorry to hear about Michael's passing. I knew him from my Quinnsworth Celbridge days - I was always struck by his dedication. Even though I was a part-timer he always spoke to me on his visits.

To the Quinn family, I was very sorry to hear of Mick’s passing. I worked with Mick on many projects over the years. He was a gentleman who knew more about retail than anyone I knew. He knew how to get the job done whilst bringing everyone with him! His humour, humility and willingness to lead by example were the traits I most remembered. Looking at the comments in the condolences, it is clear that he was the real deal for everyone who knew him, especially his family.

Sincerest condolences from me and the entire Power family to yours on the passing of your beloved Husband and Dad, ‘Mick the Slick’ as we fondly called him.
Our families have shared so many occasions over the last 45 years, I just can’t believe this sad day has come. I have so so many fond memories of ‘Quinners Cafe’ and your Dad Ang, he was so kind and generous and always treated me like one of the family. A few come to mind, the endless sleepovers, us staying awake until Mick arrived down for breakfast, us drawing all over the wardrobe walls, he didn’t mind, the endless lifts he was always there to provide, no matter what match was on the TV, my selection box and Easter Egg every year…I could go on and on… Thank you ‘Mick the Slick’ for the most wonderful happy childhood memories, I cherish them so dearly.
Ursi, Ang, Paul and Michael, I understand the magnitude of this loss for each of you and I just hope we can all help to carry you through over the coming days, weeks and beyond. May he Rest in Peace.
