Our deepest sympathies to all the Quinn family on the sad passing of Mick. He was a true gentleman and we loved meeting him by the river over the past 15+ years. Mick was so good to Katie and James. Mick your beautiful smile and chats will never be forgotten we truly will miss you, Glendalough will not be the same without you there, may his gentle soul rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathies to the Quinn family we met Mick a few years ago when we went to Glendalough we use to buy from his stall every time we went down and when my cousins from Canada came over they always brought something from him we had great chats and banter with him he was a true gentleman and I only found out today the 5th of July that he passed away I’m heartbroken may you rest in peace Miick I will miss your txt and funny jokes 😘💜

Mick’s passing prompts us to reflect on how the world would so less interesting if we were all the same and we were deprived of individuals like Mick. He had a unique take on life, sometimes irreverent, sometimes charming, sometimes funny but above all he was a character.

It was his character that made him unique, his quick wit, his sharp tongue and when required, a charm that could attract the birds from the trees, utilised to the full to close a sale in Glendalough.

I grew up with mixer went to school with him but most times we would mitch and do a milk round maybe get shillings but that was enough to get you crisps chocolate and ice cream he is a legend RIP
