Michael Raymond Forde

Deepest sympathy to the Forde family on the sad passing of Michael. He had a great knowledge of aviation, gained through his experiences in the Aer Corps, and Aer Lingus. In Bolton St., he had a great skill in imparting that knowledge, in an interesting and skillful way. He was a true gentlemen, kind, and ever helpful to every student who passed through the doors of Bolton Street. May Michael, Rest in Peace.

So very sorry to hear about the passing of Michael. I grew up two doors down from Michael and Dorothy on Maywood Crescent. Michael was such a gentleman and always had time for me, from when I was a kid up to when I grew older. The world has lost one of the kindest people in it.

I'll always remember the first time I met Mick. Straight away I knew I was meeting an absolute gentleman, and in all the years since that thought hasn't changed.
