Sincere sympathy to the Riordan family on Michael's passing. I knew him from the pool and he was the nicest man you could meet. You'd always feel great after a chat with Michael in the jacuzzi after his swim, although he made no secret of going there to socialise more than to swim. That, and his stop for coffee afterwards! He always spoke with great pride about Michael and all his grandchildren and had interesting stories about farming, even with a bit of mischief at times.
