Michael Robert Sunderland

Very sorry to hear of Michael’s untimely death. I knew him briefly in my teenage years in Dundalk. He was absolutely beautiful and cut a striking figure on his motorbike. A kind, generous-hearted person who always was sweet and polite whenever we met. May you Rest In Peace Michael. A Beautiful, kind soul.

I learned through a friend the really sad news of the untimely death of Michael. I remember him from my teenage years with much affection, and I can still see his wide smile which was often on his face. My deepest sympathy goes out to all Michael's family and friends particularly his dad, Bob, and sister, Olivia. May he rest in peace

Sincere condolences to all of Michael’s family & friends, I was in 1st year in Dundalk Grammar School when Michael was a 6th former, little did I know that a number of years later he would be a housemate of mine in Blackrock, Dublin. One very fond memory I have is after I’d been knocked off my bike and brought to hospital by ambulance, Michael arrived home to hear what had happened and hopped straight into his vehicle to come to my aid, (remember no mobiles then) “I’ve come to take you home” he says, out into the car park we go …… and there was my chariot waiting….. his Walsh Western truck ….My Hero. Till we meet again, from a now well seasoned fellow trucker.

So sad to to learn of Michael's passing. Deepest condolences Olivia, Robert, Dan and Sa. May he rest in peace, but never be forgotten.

My heartfelt condolences to you Olivia, Rob and Sa. So many memories, from a time when all was wonderful back in the 80's. I am so sad to hear Michael has passed, unknown to me until today. Until we meet again some day, rest in peace Michael. You were much loved, often thought of and will always be remembered.

Deepest sympathy to Olivia, Dan and your father Robert on the loss of Michael. My wife and I were friends of Michael as teenagers but unfortunately we lost touch. Over the years we often spoke of him and wondered how he was doing, we were so sad to hear of his passing, may Michael rest in peace.
