Michael Rooney

It was with great shock and sadness that we learned of the death of Michael today, 8th June. We met Michael in the early 70s when he plastered our new home in Confey, Leixlip, inside and out. Such a genuine man and such a strong and reliable worker. Our working relationship continued until he started his own building business. One of our favourite memories of him is of him sitting with one of our small children on his knee, both now in their 50s, and Michael pretending to chew a sweet with our children poking his mouth and wondering why he wasn't offering them one! We have nothing but good and happy memories of Michael. Our deepest sympathy to Marie and all the family. May he rest in peace.
