Your Dad extricated me from a tough situation in AIB Dunmanway in 1974 with a transfer to Cork City. That move transformed my life. He was a wonderful relaxed and humane guy who always saw the lighter n brighter side of life. God bless him.

I watched his Mass on-line and it was a lovely tribute to Michael. The song at the end, The Old Man, was so beautiful. We had the same song played at my father-in-law's funeral when he passed away in 2021 at the age of 97. May Michael's gentle soul Rest in Peace.
