I have many happy memories of working with Michael when we both worked in Nally’s Super Valu in the late 1980’s early 1990’s. I remember Michael as a great people person, very chatty and funny and who adored his family and GAA. I always loved our chats when we had to go to Musgraves cash and carry to “fill up the van”. Great days!

Had the pleasure of working with Michael doing the milk round in the mid 1980s,many a great laugh with him doing a truly crazy job at extremely horrible hours. My condolences to all Mick's family on his passing, Mick worked in St. Conleth's and Hawkfield as a volunteer steward for many years and was without doubt one of the nicest people you could possibly meet. He always had time time for a chat and loved to speak about his beloved Annaghdown and Galway without going overboard.
