My heartfelt condolences to the entire O'Regan family. I know what my cousins are going through - losing a parent leaves a big blank place in the family. I remember Uncle Michael as such a kind soul with a lovely sense of humor. He was kind enough to laugh at my jokes, so that says a lot. Love from across the pond - Lorraine and Michael Larson

Our deepest sympathy to Gerald and Jarlath and to all the O Regan extended families on the passing of Michael. I always enjoyed meeting with Mick and having the craic. May he rest in peace
Deepest sympathies to Gerald and Jarlath and their families from both of us. Michael and his late wife Mary were really kind and helpful neighbours to my late mother (May) on the Drive for many, many years. The daily chauffeur service to 10 o'clock mass in St Anthony's that Michael provided for several neighbours, including my mother, was just one of the selfless acts that he seemed to find it so natural to perform.

Being in the construction business, Michael also offered help in contacting trades when my parents needed this, and indeed he helped me out personally in this way on several occasions.

Michael was also, like my late father (Peter), a loyal customer of Clontarf Castle, and both he, my father and the late Gordon Kelly, shared the same patch on many an occasion determined, while solving the world's problems together, to make some small inroad into the Guinness stocks of the Castle.

Michael, and of course his late wife Mary, will be sorely missed by all their former neighbours in Clontarf.
Condolences to all of Michaels family on their sad loss.

Michael was a lovely man who was a great and helpful friend to all his neighbours on the Drive over many years.

RIP Michael

Sending love to my cousins in Rostrevor and Dublin. Words can’t express how much uncle Michael meant to us all and how much we looked forward to visiting number 49 and then hopping across to the Castle. We are so grateful for all of the years of fun, love and laughter with Michael and Mary. Michael made such a difference to my Dad, he and Mary gave such great support to him and I know they’ll be enjoying a bombay gin and a wind-up together in heaven. I couldn’t have asked for a better uncle and will miss his wit, mischief, discussions about Irish politics/history, and the ongoing rivalry between my Kerry and his Cork. Love you forever uncle Michael, RIP with beautiful Mary xx
