Michael Storey

Sincere condolences to the Gleeson family and the wider Storey family. Micks death breaks another link with a bygone era, the days of Dreamland Ballroom, record crowds at Croke Park and simpler pursuits like droving cattle to the fair, threshing the harvest,thinning beet etc. Mick was a participant in all of these, but also an astute observer of same, this interest and recall made him a very interesting to chat with. The Storey name is now much less plentiful than before, but Micks legacy and memory will live on in our area.
