I was privileged to meet Michael through his interest in bowls. He was always generous with his time particularly new members. He was kind, caring, witty mischievous but a rock of common sense. Also he was a great family man and so proud of his wife and family. All our worlds will be the poorer without him.

I knew Michael through my work as a contractor with Irish Rail.
I remember him as both a gentleman and a safe pair of hands as a look out man while we carried out various tasks along the Railway.
