Our sincere sympathy to, Joe, Olive, Garry and Mark, and all the extended family. Michael was one of the first people we got to know when we moved to Crossbarry, he and Eileen ( who passed away just last June) were great neighbours . I had some of his strawberries over the last few years, and some of his stories, one day we travelled all the way to Castletownbere and back calling to different people along the way. Done it in about 2 hours. (We never left Crossbarry) He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Jane and I are so very sorry to hear of Michael's death. We would often meet him at the shop at Crossbarry and he was such a lovely man...he loved the chat, he always remembered my and Jane's name.

I got to know him through my late husband Eddie Burke. And their mutual love of Toledo and Triumph cars .. sourcing parts and scrapped ones which they then repaired and nursed back to life..
I have lovely memories of a genial, very pleasant and generous gentleman. Who always had time for a chat and a kind word... he was very generous too with vegetables and fruits from his garden...
May God support you all at this very difficult time... in the knowledge that Michael is reuinted with all his beloved family members gone before him..
May his gentle soul rest peacefully in God's Heavenly Gatden.

I will always remember the evenings you would call to say Hello to us, we would hear the knock at the side window, and we would say , Michael Twomey is here before ud even reach the Door..
you were always such a good helpful neighbour, never refused to pick us up or drop us home, when we used be wandering the roads to and from crossbarry, we used be crossing our fingers in hope you would be on the road as we were guaranteed a spin,
yourself and Mrs Twomey were always there in Annaghmore and always welcomed the kids of the road in to your house, we surly drove ye crazy but ye never showed..
rest easy Michael Twomey along with Mrs Twomey and Moira ...
