Gail, I only heard today of Mick's death. It brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face remembering all the lovely sunny summers spent in Sligo. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Maura and family
I just heard of Micahel's death. I always remember him as a gentle and helpful person during his time with SKC/KPMG.
Gail..... our sincerest sympathy to you and all the family at this sad time. You will be in our thoughts next Wednesday at the celebration of Micks life and we are very sorry we cannot be there. Love Jen and Frank.
My memories of Mike are old ones. We both played for the same Trinity teams from 1958 to 1961. On and off the field I remember his friendly unflappable demeanour and his dependable play as left half. Reading the more recent memorials of his friends and family, it seems these qualities remained with him through his life..
My condolences to his family and friends.

Much sympathy to Mike's family.
I enjoyed playing hockey both with and against him . First at schoolboy interprovincial when he played for South East and I played for Munster and then for Leinster. Then of course when we were both at Trinity.
Good man. Good hockey player.
