Lovely memories of Michael and May. They were a big part of our youth. We learnt so much about rural life from holidays in Toonagh. Rest In Peace together.

Such happy memories of Michael when we traveled to school in Ennis on the big yellow bus. He was a gas man, full of craic and always whistling, once you didn’t cross him!!!! You wouldn’t cross him a second time! May he Rest In Peace, a lovely man.

On any visit to Toonagh you were always given a warm welcome with both him and May side by side at the range with the kettle on the boil & Clare FMs West Wind playing! Michael had a deep love of traditional music, song and dance, as he often mentioned the memories he had from his set dancing days!
Michael lived for the land and his Toonagh home which both himself and May adored and kept so beautifully.
Farming was his life, his animals he cherised and when you told him he had 'the finest stock' - that was music to his ears!
Huge Tribute to Michael's family for the exceptional tender loving care which they gave to their father.
