Both he and your Mum, Ann did sterling work on behalf of Marian Musical Society. Their loyal, constant support was truly invaluable.

Dear Ann, Caroline, Alan and Barry. I got to know Dick in the period from 1998 to 2001, when Barry met Caroline and at their marriage. Dick was always so kind, so caring, always looking out for others, and doing so with his unique Dublin wit and charm. His voice, accent and ways of saying things are part of that unique character of Dublin city folk, educated, polite, witty, always a way of saying something that changes a bleak dull rainy wintery day into a hopeful, inner warmth and happy fullfilling day....it is that old Dublin ways of people of the 40s and 50s...when Ireland was poor, but rich in human strength and character.
Thanks for all you brought us Dick.
You are in heaven now, bringing laughter there...as you once did here.
