So sad the passing of this gentle
giant.
My childhood holidays on the island made so magical by him
Always took time with you, such a patient man who loved children
Often in my thoughts and always in heart
Jimmy O'Donnell
Uncle Michael was such a gentle giant with a caring, selfless nature. He always made us feel so welcome and it was lovely to spend time there reminiscing about the past and hearing stories of the O’Donnell clan.
Heartfelt condolences to Aunt Brid and family and Uncle Tom at this time. He is at peace in his heavenly home.
Sorry to hear of the death of Michael. A lovely man who I remember fondly from my holidays on Inishmore as a child and teenager. He made my holidays there seem quite magical - the simplicity of the island and the close connection with nature. A real contrast with London. Uncle Martin (Michael’s brother) was my connection with the island as he married my aunt. I was lucky to have stayed there and experience the hospitality of the O’Donnells. Rest in peace, Michael.
Thinking of Aunt Brid and family during this difficult time. I will always remember Uncle Micheal fondly. He was the highlight of our trips out to Inis Mor. May he rest in peace.
My deepest sympathy to Aunt Brid and family and to Uncle Tom. Uncle Michael was such a wonderful person. He was always so kind to us whenever we visited Aran. He will always be remembered with love. RIP
Heartfelt condolences to you Tom on the passing of your brother Micheal. Hope you find comfort in the memories you created together. Condolences to Brid and family, Micheal's Nieces, Nephews and extended family. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.

Eternal rest grant to the soul of my cousin Michael, fond memories of him when he visited our home back in the seventies when he used to have the jaunting car. Sincere sympathy to his brother Tom, Bríd and family and his nieces and nephews in the UK and USA. Rest in peace Michael.🌹
We send our deepest condolences on the passing of Uncle Michael. He was a very kind and gentle man. We will always cherish the time we got to spend with him on Aran and grateful for the memories we have of our late night chats and his stories. May he rest on peace.
