A great character and full of fun, I got to know Michelle through my neighbour Marianne ( R I P) who was Michelle’s cousin.
We had many nights out together at Horans and the Brandon back in the late seventies.

Michelle, with her film-star looks, was my dearest friend…. We were fortunate to have been colleagues at AIB and it quickly blossomed into a deep social supportive friendship which led to us sharing many wonderful adventures together including holidays at home and abroad, fine dining and sporting events. She also loved to dance and she was always the life and soul of the party!
Michelle was a very welcome guest at many of our family occasions where her effervescent sense of fun and laughter was truly present. For every occasion her warm embracing energy and aura radiated a joy, that spread around in generous measure.
All of this underwritten with her very deep faith and compassionate nature.

For me Michelle raised the bar for what true friendship really means and in loss, I am flooded with many joyous memories which I shall cherish. 

I will miss her profoundly.

I was so shocked and sorry to hear the news about Michelle. We often saw her when she moved to Cork. She had a great laugh and was such a kind, gentle person. My parents were always v fond of her - as were we all though she was a bit older and more glamorous than us! Sincere sympathy to all of you.
