I am deeply saddened by the news and my deepest sympathies and condolences go to her family at this really difficult time. I really enjoyed the fun we had in Japan and I will miss Michelle who had such a joy of life.

My sincere sympathy to Michelle's family and friends. A lovely person and colleague. I will always remember her laughter and wit.

I knew Michelle as a fellow teacher here in Yokohama at Saint Maur International School, and she was ever buoyant and cheerful and upbeat. So positive and clearly doing the job she was born to do, Michelle was a wonderful colleague, friend and joyful human being. You need to know how very highly regarded she was as a mate, a co-worker and a fabulously funny and joyful person. God bless you in this tragic time of mourning; words are insufficient to begin to express all the healing you are wished. We stand with you though we may be very far in distance; Michelle was a special woman and a talented educator. Most of all she was your precious girl; may you know peace, and may she dance in the brilliance. Wishing you strength at this time.

I knew Michelle since childhood and we became good friends while Michelle lived near me in Holland. I know that Michelle will be sadly missed by all who were lucky enough to have met her. So sad to hear about Michelle's death. She was a kind and caring young woman and loving towards the children she worked with. I have some great memories of her working next door to me in Amsterdam. I am speechless and so very sad. Cant believe Michelle is gone. Still hear her voice, see her face, feel her friendship. So very sad to hear of Michelle's passing. Michelle had a great sense of humour and was fun to work with. Michelle celebrating St. Patrick's day with her Firefly class will be just one of the things I'll remember her for.
