I was so sad to hear this news.

Michelle was a wonderful girl and had such a huge and generous heart. Her gorgeous caring personality will always stick clearly in my mind.

When I landed in Sydney all alone in my early twenties Michelle went out of her way and took me under her wing. She brought me out and introduced me to all her pals. We had many fun days in the sun. She was so much fun and so kind and caring. She had a gorgeous sense of ease about her. She continued to make sure I was ok for months later eventhough I was only her friends little sister! She really was an incredibly caring girl. Michelle always had a beautiful permanent smile on her face. It was like her trademark. She had a gorgeous and graceful presence. I genuinely feel so priviliged to have known Michelle and Jon and have spent some lovely times with them in Australia. They seemed to even have a lovely vibe together back in 2004. A great couple.

God bless you all. I am thinking and praying for you all every day. Your guardian angel will shine down on you and look after you all.

Michelle’s mass today was just beautiful the music the prayers Jon’s tribute to such a wonderful and loved person. Gill I know you were peas in a pod with Michelle and I only had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times. But I remember her clearly standing in the Horas kitchen the day before your wedding as Michelle was organising all the finishing touches and making sure everything was just perfect for you. There are no words that make anything easier for you all now but below Is a poem that came to mind today. Love and strength to you all Edel Ed and girls.

My deepest sympathy to Jon, Heather, Hope, Gillian, Mick, Anne Marie and family. I was so very sad to hear of her passing. I travelled around Australia with Michelle in 2003/2004 and will never forget her and our time together. We met while both working in a hostel in Magnetic Island. She was one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We became great friends as we travelled to the Outback together in Cloncurry and worked in a motel where we were the only backpackers at the time, so we kept each other sane! it was one of the most fun times I've ever had, thanks to Michelle. I don't think I ever laughed that much with another person in my life. I had planned on going there on my own and she was so worried about that that she insisted on coming with me. She was having none of it! That's the kind of person she was. Always caring for other people and putting them first. We met up again in Sydney and stayed in touch hanging out there until I moved back to the UK in 2004. I will never forget our friendship and the times I spent with her. It was one of the most memorable times of my life. It was where she met Jon too. Such a wonderful time in her life. Love to you all at this difficult time xxx

Deepest sympathies to Jon, Heather, Hope and the wider family. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle in SLC and we both coincidentally lived in Helensburgh so we would have good old moans about the trains being delayed etc. Michelle was such a lovely person and has been taken far too soon.

Words can’t describe how deeply saddened I was to hear of Michelle’s passing. What a wonderful, friendly, charming and caring girl she was. She was always the person who spotted someone on their own or on the outside of a circle and made sure to include them and put them at ease. My heart goes out to you Jon, Heather and Hope on the loss of your beautiful mom and partner and an integral part of your lives.

Jon, Hope and Heather & to the family of Michelle. I had the honour to work with Michelle during her time at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. We bonded immediately as the two accents met. We shared stories of our girls, stories of Ireland and the challenges of being a working mum.

Michelle's work involved working across lots of different people in the organization - no matter who they were she was brilliant at navigating questions, barriers and overcoming obstacles with a class and professionalism that few have. She worked tirelessly on projects and gave her full heart and head to her work. Above all else, i never had a conversation with Michelle that didn't involve talking about her family - Hope and Heather you were always on the tip of her tongue and the top of her mind.

i regret not being able to travel to the funeral due to Covid restrictions on my side. Please know the team at HPE are heartbroken to have lost such a beautiful colleague as Michelle. Her legacy will live on for years to come.

May she rest as she lived. Beautifully.

Had the absolute pleasure of working closely with Michelle when she first joined HPE. I will always remember the laughs we had on our Teams calls...slagging off our co-workers and taking great delight in admiring the great Helensburgh weather. She had an infectious smile and her Irish wit kept you on your toes. I will miss her dearly. My thoughts are with her husband Jon and their beautiful girls and to all who knew her. x

Had the pleasure of working with Michelle at SLC in Glasgow. A beautiful girl who could light up a room with her sunny soul and hold that same room with her witty stories and tales of her life. Her fabulous craic will always stay with her finance colleagues who were all so sad today.
