Condolences to Michael’s wife Josie and all his family. I will never forget the kindness which Michael showed to my father PJ Furey as they shared their passion for the game of draughts. Michael drove all over the country to Tournaments and in between he drove from Inistioge to Carlow , rain, hail or snow, every Monday for years, to have a game with dad. He was a true gentleman, I treasure the times I spent in his company, especially his 90th birthday and his visits to Carlow. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace,
