To Dear Kate Grace and Alan. We are so sorry to hear the very sad news of Mick .He was a great friend to me in life .I always looked up to him and had many a great times spent together. I will very much miss him . And my condolences goes out to micks family and friends. May he rest in peace .

My condolences to the family of the late Mick Holland. He was my sisters (Steph Gallagher) employer for many years and I came to know him during this time. I will never forget the kindness he showed to her in her final years in a nursing home in Nth Co Dublin. A measure of the man he was kind generous and a very good and loyal friend always ready to offer advice and help. May he rest in peace.

Mick was a very kind man. I learned a lot from working for him over the years.

Kate and family we were deeply sorry and sad on hearing of Mick passing. He was a great friend to us when we lived in Dublin and when we moved we knew we could pick up the phone to him because he would always help us out. A great character, full of mischief and laughs. He will be so missed.

Kate, Grace and Alan. So sorry to hear of Mick's passing. He was a diamond and great man to share company. The last time we met was 4 years ago on the occasion of my Mum's passing. We had a few pints in Harry Byrnes and a great chat. Mick was one man you would like to bump into when you are down. His mischievous smile will always remain with me.

Sincere sympathy to the Holland family on the sad loss of Michael. Played with him back in the old days. Chalkie Hawkins informed me of his death. Funny world shortly after getting the news going through some memorabilia came across a paper report on a match between Whitehall Colmcilles (Gaels)and Grocer's in a very important match.
