Maureen, Bernie and extended family, so sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. I have many great memories of when I stayed in yere house in Sherriff’s Hill while attending the convent in Castledermot for 2 years….. memories I’ll never forget. Sadly, I’m unable to attend Michael’s funeral, due to a work commitment. I hope your own memories of time together will help you through the difficult days, weeks and months ahead. May Michael’s soul rest in peace as he is united with your Mam & Dad.

Mick, that cheeky smile captures you perfectly. Full of humour, always to be relied on when needed, the ‘go to’ for sweets and we could always be sure of a cheeky quip being thrown in on the daily for good measure.

You took me on my first tractor ride, my first car bonnet ride (off road of course) and taught me how to light a real fire.

You were generous by nature, a good brother and the fun uncle. You will be missed and may you rest in peace.
