I have many fond memories of talking to Mick. He was a truly inspirational, positive man and never took things too seriously.
I covered Falcons games for the Longford News and was always treated very warmly by players and coaches, Mick among them.
He will be remembered as one of most influential people in the history of Longford sport, but above all, he was an absolute gentleman.
