Unbelievably saddened by only hearing of Mr Mc Gahon's passing today, a neighbour who always brightened my day when encountering him, our chats on the weather and gardening may have seemed trivial to many but meant a lot to me.. I'll not pass his door and forget his smile or his wave of his walking stick in the street.. rest easy sir.. there was never a truer gent.
