Deepest sympathies to the Shine family. I had many dealings with Mike he was an absolute gentleman a pleasure to meet. I am sorry I missed the funeral as I only found out today.

We are greatly saddened to learn of Mike's death. He was my friend since our college days together in UCG and UCD. He was always in good humour and looked for the positives in everything and everybody. It can truely be said of him Ní bheidh a leithéad ann arís. Suimhneas síoraí dá anam dílis.

So sorry to hear of Mikc's passing. Condolences to his wife, Margaret and family and especially to his brother Tom and sisters. We were contemporaries in UCG and UCD as well being from neighboring parishes. Many good memories.' He was held in high esteem by his classmates. May he rest in peace.
