It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of Millie Devine,
We offer our deep and sincere sympathy to her husband Peter, son Lee and all the rest of Millies family, her sister and niece Stella, and many friend’s at this sad time for you all.
I have known Millie from a lifetime living in Athlone, her quiet and reserved personality and alway‘s a pleasure to meet and greet.
Remembering Millie from her school days in St Peters Convent , and living in the old Family home on College lane a few doors off Connaught Street. Calling to the Devine Home on College Lane during my youth brings back many memories of the many side Streets and residential areas off Connaught Street, and I was alway’s intrigued at the ornate door surrounds and the intricate door joinery details exemplifying the work of the master tradesmen and craftsmen of the day and times past.
Remembering the deceased members of the Devine Family, her parents , brothers Gerry and Leonard and niece Caroline at this time also.
May they all rest in eternal peace.
