Really sad to hear about Auntie Miriam’s passing. She was such a lovely lady and I often think of her friendship with my mam. She was one of my handful of wedding guests she meant that much to us. Condolences to Fr Derek, Richard and Sarah.

It is with deep sadness I express my sympathy to Miriam's son's Richard and Ivan, daughter Sarah her brothers Fr.Derek and Arthur and the extended family. I was friends with Miriam and her late husband Paddy for over 50 years, what wonderful times we had. Rest in peace Miriam, you will be greatly missed.

I have known Miriam all through my life from my teenage years, through our involvement in the Redemptorist choir. She sang in the soprano line. She was a force to be reckoned with as chairperson for many years. She was highly motivated and organised with a heart of gold. She seldom if ever missed a rehearsal or Mass such was her dedication. She was so proud of you Sarah when you showed singing talent and sang in school and church .
I’m sure she is reunited now with Paddy , her quiet half and is telling him all the news.
