How very sad I am to hear of Myra’s passing. We go back a long way having been boarders together at The Mercy Convent in Carrick. We were in the same year and became very close friends. Just recently I read little things she wrote in my autograph book. Our friendship continued over the years. On trips home I always visited. On my last visit which was quite a while ago now we had lunch together in the hotel in town. My heart goes out to her lovely family who will be feeling bereft at this time. Myra you were a one off, a best pal, hilariously funny, sometimes naughty who grew into a beautiful woman. Heavens gain is our loss. Rest in peace my old pal. With much love. Phil Lannon

I have nothing but the fondest memories of the time we spent in Ring one summer when Moira looked after us while our parents were in America.
