Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of loss and sadness. Auntie Moira has left this world and her passing has left a huge void which is impossible to fill. She was one in a million. She packed so much into her 90 years and touched so many lives over that time. She had such energy. She took a huge interest in the people around her and her community. She was one of a disappearing generation who maintained the tradition of “ag bothántaíocht”, translated as “visiting houses for pastime”. A pastime which is dying in our modern busy world. She was funny and witty, she loved the banter and the craic, and she was well able to hold her own in any company. Our many wonderful memories of her make us smile. Rest in peace now Auntie Moira reunited with your loved ones who have gone before you. X
