Deepest sympathy to the Reidy family on the death of Moira. I grew up in Tulla & moved to Galway where I got to know this very kind, intelligent, witty lady. Now living in Dunmore East I missed the sad news of Moira's passing. RIP Moira.

Sincere sympathy to the Reidy family on the death of Moira, which I read about while abroad on holiday. Moira was a mentor and guide to me from childhood through school and afterwards in UCG, for which I will be forever grateful. A woman of the highest standards, she sought for the same in those she dealt with. Also a person of great kindness and concern, of which I was the beneficiary. I remember with fondness animated discussions on politics and the vagaries of the world with her and her great friend Bernie in their home in Loyola Park.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to all Moira’s family and friends. We were lucky to have herself and Bernie as residents in our Estate since we lived here. Two very classy ladies who will be greatly missed by all who knew them. May they be reunited again and their gentle souls RIP.

I used to meet Moira and Bernie regularly in town and also in Oughterard Golf Club. They were inseparable until Bernie was taken. My deepest sympathies to all her family and friends.

So very sad to hear of Moira’s passing. She was an amazing friend and support to my mum Treasa for many many years and especially on my Dad’s sudden passing. An amazing women with an incredible quick wit and turn of phrase - great company. My condolences to all her extended family.

From the moment as a tiny baby that I climbed up your chest (you named me ‘wire wool’ ), you have been a part of my life!
Decades later as I say goodbye, I’ll remember you as the perfect role model for a life of glamour, food (you introduced my daughter to caviar at the age of 2!), fun and intelligent conversation.
