Betty, I was so sorry to hear of Mona's death, she was a lovely person, kept me informed of news from Agriculture House following my retirement to Waterford. So sorry I was unable to attend her funeral as I was away. May she rest in peace.

I was truly very sorry to hear of Monas passing and also sorry to miss her funeral mass. I knew Mona well for many years in TCS. It was a pleasure to know her for the number of years we overlapped in the choir, in the Alto section. I was very sorry to hear of Mona's passing. She was a joyful and energetic colleague not least during outings of the Dept. of Agriculture pitch and putt club on Saturday mornings in the 1980s.

Very sorry to hear of Mona's death. Being an ex Brussels person myself, we met at many reunions from which she will be much missed. She has now joined Maura and Marie as well as others from Brussels in Heaven, I have no doubt. May she rest in peace. While I was unable to attend her funeral Mass, I was glad to do so online.

I worked with Mona in the Department of Agriculture for many years and her job on the side was as diligent organiser of an annual Christmas party, which was always the start of the Christmas season.

So sad to hear of Mona’s passing. She was a long-standing member of Tallaght Choral Society and served as PRO for the choir for quite a few years. She was a cheery friendly woman with a good sense of humour. Sincere sympathy to her sister, family and friends.

Both myself and Anna were both so saddened to hear of Mona's passing. Such moments are always filled with the immediacy of the pain, but also the surreal feeling that comes with the loss of someone who had, hitherto, been so present.
We have nothing but the fondest memories of Mona, a truly gentle and beautiful soul who lived her life with the sort of quiet dignity that most people can only aspire to. For my part I have always been inspired by the longevity and loyalty of friendship that has existed between our families and at this very sad time, that is one thing that is very much worth remembering. Generations and people may pass, but the love and friendship that exists between them, will outlive us all.

We in Tallaght Choral Society and the Dept of Agriculture will miss Mona. She loved life, travelled a lot, sang with us for many years, adored her cats and used her sharp active brain to do crosswords, compete in pub quizes and even featured on Countdown. More to the point, she was a kind, caring woman who had many many friends.

Deeply saddened to hear of Mona's passing, she was a wonderful chorister, always knew her music and always note perfect, she was incredibly helpful to me in the alto section of several choirs, a lovely person. It was a privilege to know her, R.I.P Mona , till we meet again.
