So sorry to hear of Monica’s death. I enjoyed playing golf with Monica in Elm Park many years ago. Monica’s clubs were of the antique variety but she insisted they were just fine! Long after she was an active member, Monica could be seen on the fairways supporting Elm Park at inter club matches taking place in clubs such as Sutton and at St Anne’s.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Monica. A warm, kind person who was such a friend to our dear aunt Peggie . Great company,she was a generous lady. She will be sadly missed.

My deepest sympathy to Monica's nieces and nephews on her passing last Friday. I first met Monica in 1962 when I joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. We kept in touch over the following years. Monica always spoke most highly of her family and how good and kind you all were to her. She used to say she couldn't have managed without Ann's help. Monica was such an intelligent person with a keen interest in everything particularly sport. Our last meeting was at the end of January when she invited me to Elm Park for lunch; it was most enjoyable day. I was in touch with her by phone as few times after that. We will all miss her, may she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Mon and my Mam Berney met at boarding school. She was our Aunty Mon. The most interesting and intelligent lady ever. Know your politics, history and geography and your rationale also. Loved her so much. A beautiful lady. Love you ❤️❤️
