Have only just learnt the sad news. Deepest sympathy to the family. I have happy memories of Monica growing up in the same part of Cobh and laterally of meeting her at Sunday Mass in the Cathedral. To quote from one of her favour its hymns -

"And whether our tomorrows
Be filled with good or ill,
We'll triumph through our sorrows
And rise to bless you still."

"O God Beyond All Praising" ( Gustave Holst)
Deepest sympathy and condolences. I'm so shocked and saddened to hear this news. May Monica R.I.P. Having known her all my life since childhood through her work as a night matron, Monica was an absolutely lovely lady and always was so, so friendly, caring, and an absolute professional at her job. She ALWAYS made time to come and visit myself and each and every child
