My wife Molly and I were deeply saddened to learn -only recently- of the passing of our dear friend Monica. For almost thirty years we had the pleasure of playing bridge with her, and it was always a joy to sit across the table from such a kind and gentle soul.
Monica brought grace and warmth to every game. Whether as a partner or an opponent, she made the experience richer simply by being there.
We extend our sincere condolences to her daughter Toinette, her sons Peter and Paul and to all her extended family.
Rest in peace Monica. You will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Deepest Sympathies to the Jacob and Griffin Family, extended Families and Friends. I had the absolute privilege of having a a no. of conversations with both Mr & Mrs Jacob in the past. Beautiful people to meet. I thank them for their gentleness, joy and generous spirits.

May you all be consoled in your memories of both and the love they shared with you all. Their love for you all and yours for them will remain with you til Ye meet again.

A lovely lady to meet at the Bridge table where she was an excellent player; always very kind in sharing her knowledge.
I particularly remember one occasion when she advised me not to play an Ace too early....saying "If necessary, take it home with you!"
