We were very sorry to hear about the sad passing of Monty. My late mother Frances Neill always spoke very highly of the Heffernan’s when she lived close by at Kilderry. It is with sadness that I heard of the death of my dear cousin Monty.
It was always a pleasure to visit and and chat with him and we were fortunate to have done that as recent as January. He had a keen interest in local and family history and unfortunately some of that is lost now.
