So sorry to learn of Morgan's death. He was a first class journalist and a wonderful colleague. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Condolences to Morgan's Family. on his sad passing. Like myself, he loved the live music in Wicklow Town. I had many a chat with him, whether it was in the Bridge, Fitz's or whereever the music was. I think Morgan was a big Bluegrass fan RIP.

I have been struck by the many RTE colleagues who have spoken so fondly of Morgan in recent days. He was a mentor and friend to a generation journalists and left a lasting legacy on RTE journalism. My condolences to Morgan's family.

Having known Morgan a very long time, from his Leaving Cert year and the band and the gigs and then to the Gate Lodge in Stocking Lane and then to Wicklow Town and more gigs, I am thoroughly shocked and saddened at the very sad news.
I wish i could have been there yesterday but it was not possible.
Rest in Peace Morgan, you will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear of Morgan’s death. He was a great colleague whose sound judgement and calm demeanour were an asset to RTÉ news. A humanist ceremony seems appropriate for a man who was always humane in his decisions. He’ll be missed.
