I am so sad to hear about Moya's death. My deepest sympathy to Brian, Damian and Jerry and their families. It was always such a joy for me to visit her, my last visit was just a few months ago. She always loved to catch up with the West Cork connection. She brought suchh joy and loved to tell me all the news of her family.

So very sad to hear the news. Moya was a beloved neighbour to so many on our Road and I will miss our chats, her joyous laugh and the twinkle in her eye. Dear Damian, Brian, Gerard, Karen and Marie-Helene.

I was so sorry to hear of Moya's passing. Moya and Jim were good friends of our parents. They were neighbours on The Stiles Rd. From time to time Moya helped Mum out and minded us. She was kindness itself. That was when we first learned how accomplished she was as a home maker, and in the kitchen, to the extent, that at least one of my family has said they would have loved to be a Collins too!

Moya continued to be a loyal and supportive friend to our Mum in recent years. They had great chats that lifted spirits and Moya dropped in delicious home bakes that could turn a day around.

Moya was like family, so was often at gatherings celebrating family milestones. She was such positive company, friendly, encouraging and genuinely interested in others. As a result my own children have fond memories of her too.

Damian, Brian and Gerard, you were all the 'apple of her eye.' Your successes in life and the arrival of Karen and Marie-Helene brought her great joy. In turn you have taken such great care of her.

The icing on the cake then for Moya was the arrival of her grandchildren, Kate, Lucy, Giacomo, Matteo and Annamaria. She loved you all so much and was so very proud of you all.

We were all so lucky to have Moya in our lives. May the lovely memories you have of your Mum, mother in law and grandmother console you at this difficult time.

Moya made her last phone call to me 27th October last and was in great spirits then, not forgetting to ask for all in Bellharbour and we finally discussed the Bridge game, which she loved to play online in the latter end.
We have many happy memories of Moya and Jim visiting the Burrin over the years. They took a great interest in the locality - the native home of Jim's dear mother. We shall always hold Jim in high regard for his empathy shown in 1969, as he made the long journey to walk the shores of Flaggy Shore in solidarity with all. May Moya reap the rewards of her earthly good deeds and now Rest in her Heavenly Home with her beloved Jim and her family gone before her.
