Dear Kevin We were so sad to hear about the death of Moya, a lovely person and super tennis player. Our condolences to you and your family.
Very sorry to hear about Moya. I was lucky enough to share a hockey pitch with Moya on many occasions and she never let her team down. Her tenacity was legendary. Sincere condolences to all the family.

Sincerest Sympathies to Susan Barry and Kevin. Moya was a great lady a compedative Tennis and Hockey player who gave of her all in club matches, league matches n interclub cup matches. She had many talents including infamous pavalovas which we all enjoyed post matches and her fantastic back spin was biblical. Her encouraging positive nature, friendly wit and kindness will always remain with me when I remember her. May you rest in peace Moya.

I was so sorry to hear of Moyas passing. She has been a life long friend of my mum Phil and we always enjoyed Moya and the ladies coming over for their annual cards night. She was lovely to talk to and always took interest in everything we were doing. We were lucky to sample on occasion some of her famous pavalovas and my mum always spoke of her prowess on the hockey field and the tennis court. I remember Moyà as a lovely , positive and clever tennis player. It was a joy to have played many league matches with her on the team. I had the great pleasure of playing with Moya occasionally. Her superb tennis and her exquisite baking were legendary in equal measure. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to all the family, may she rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear the news about our lovely neighbour - she was the first to welcome us to the community (with a home-made cake in hand!). I remember her not only as a great tennis player but a lovely lady and a wonderful baker. Kevin, Sue, Barry and families - so sorry for you loss - Moya was great fun with a wicked sense of humour - in fact one of my favourite ladies in Clontarf Cricket Club on and off the pitch. We go back a long time and I will always remember Moya’s smile - always had time to talk no matter how busy she was and she was one busy woman - lovely memories of a lovely lady you will be missed xx

But when one combines that with her modesty; her genuine friendliness, and her dour competitiveness, one remembers a special human being who will be missed dearly.
