I've just heard the sad news about Moya, my sincere condolences to all the family. It was a privilege to know her and work with her on many occasions down through the years. She was always very warm, positive and encouraging and I have many happy memories of sharing a desk with her. I'm so sorry for your loss, may she rest in peace.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Moya's passing. She was a unique and wonderful teacher and will be remembered so fondly by us all.

I spent my teenage Saturdays under Moyà’s watchful eye - her tuition and guidance ever always fuelling my love of music and cello playing. Condolences to her family - may she rest in musical peace in the orchestra of the angels.

She was unbelievably generous with her time, her extensive knowledge of the cello and her wisdom. We both learnt so much from her. She was and always will be an irreplaceable part of both our lives.
