Dearest Pat, Niamh, Tina, Siobhán, Michael, your families and the extended Long and Walsh families, I'm heartbroken to hear about the loss of my beautiful friend Josephine. Deepest sympathies to you all. The tears are flowing as I'm typing, as I'm thinking of all the wonderful memories I have of Josephine. She was such a big part of my childhood, teenage and growing up years. As happens to us all, life takes over and we lost touch over the years but she was never far from my thoughts. I was lucky to have had the chance to reconnect with her about a year ago and we had lots of Facetime chats and messaging back and forth, reminiscing about old times and having a long overdue catch up. It was an honour and a privilege to have known Josephine and I was so glad to have been able to tell her how much it meant to me to be back in touch and that she was such a special person and a wonderful friend.
