Muiris was one of the brightest and most hardworking man I ever knew. A genius with a sharp and inquisitive mind, he saw the world differently and brought originality and depth to everything he did. His intelligence was matched by his work ethic, and he earned lasting respect through dedication, skill, and integrity.
A problem solver by profession, Muiris worked in the printing trade, a craft that suited his precision, creativity, and deep appreciation for detail. He took great pride in his work, approaching it not merely as a job but as a skill to be mastered and respected. Those of us who worked with him knew him as reliable, thoughtful, and uncompromising in his standards, and a technical genius.
Beyond his talents, Muiris was a man of good character. He was principled, genuine, and quietly kind, with a strong sense of fairness and honesty. His conversations were memorable, always insightful, and marked by his unique way of thinking.
My deepest sympathy to Catherine and Marcus, who were at the heart of his life and the DeCogan family. He leaves behind a legacy of intelligence, hard work, and individuality, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
