I have wonderful childhood memories of visiting her and you in 'Avondale' where she was always welcoming, kind and full of joy. In later years I had the pleasure of meeting her when she exuded that same person I recalled. She was surely a lady who loved her style and carried a huge broad rimmed 'Ascot style hat' better than most of us. I'm with you this morning on line as a medical procedure prevents me from joining you all in celebrating your great mother and my Aunt in law Muriel. She is surely seated now with the Almighty, the great Angels and Saints.
