I had the pleasure of working with Nael for 20 years at Bunni & Associates. He was a thorough gentleman, a great mentor and always willing to share his extensive knowledge on all subjects. I have great memories of my time there.
Unfortunately, I could not pay my respects in person but we did watch the live stream of the funeral mass which was very moving. He would have been very proud.
May his gentle soul rest in peace and he be reunited with his beloved wife Anne.

So sorry that Nael is no longer with us.
I had the very great pleasure of getting to know him on the Luas project in the early 2000's and when I was his pupil for CIArb Chartered Arbitrator qualification.
I also had the honour of working closely with Nael on FIDIC contracts for years, and was always so impressed with the depth of his expertise, the scope of his practical insights, and his kind generosity in sharing his wisdom. More than anything, Nael was great company and a true gentleman that I very much respected both as a person and as a professional. He will be very sadly missed.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with him on a number of projects in Ireland and abroad most notably in West Africa in 1991 and !994 when we got to know one another very well. He was always courteous to everyone he dealt with in the course of his work and very fair in his dealings with people. It was an honour and privilege to have known him. RIP
